Keeping the Bluffwalk Revitalization Moving
When we started working on the Bluffwalk revitalization project, the logistics were a nightmare. I remember watching a masonry crew sitting on a retaining wall, just waiting for a sanitation truck that was three hours late. The heat coming off that riverfront concrete was brutal, and the smell from unserviced units was driving guys off the job site. With a tight deadline to get the pedestrian path open, losing half a day to a missed pump-out wasn't an option the general contractor could afford.
We took over the contract and immediately remapped the service route to hit Commerce Street before the morning rush traffic blocked access. My team placed standard units with reinforced lift kits so cranes could move them as the walkway progressed. We set up a strict pre-dawn cleaning schedule, ensuring every unit was pumped and restocked before the first hammer swung. The project stayed on track, and the crew stopped complaining about the facilities.
Caleb's team kept the units spotless despite the heavy foot traffic and tight quarters.
